OwenMILTONPassed away after a short illness on 14th February, 2018 at his home. Owen, beloved husband of Dilys. Dearly loved by Andrew and Anne, will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral Wednesday 28th February Committal Service at Coed Gwilym Cemetery, 11.30 a.m. followed by Thanksgiving Service at Soar Presbyterian Church of Wales, Pontardawe, SA8 4ET 12.00 noon. I first met Owen through his preaching in South Wales when I was a youth in the 1980s. But I only got to know him personally when he attended Heath Evangelical Church in Cardiff a decade later. It was there that our friendship grew. He later came to visit me whilst I was in Oxford and he was kind to my mother, Audrey, when she lost my father Glyn in 1993.
It was in Bournemouth when we last met, around 2015. It was a chance meeting and we spent some time together at his hotel the following day. That was the last time I saw him.
I was sad to hear of his passing from Jim Webber, but know that he has gone to a far better place.
Owen was a gifted preacher and a genuine Christian man. I enjoyed the times we spent together and am glad that I knew him.
